• Reduce your speed as required. Check your rear view mirror, shoulder check and signal. Safely move into curb lane demonstrating proper steering methods to move the vehicle within the legal stopping distance of the curb. (Point out your position from the curb and describe a method of judging the distance from the curb for a proper park.)

• Bring the vehicle to a smooth stop.
• Keep your foot on the brake, select parking gear, and apply the park brake.
